E-Safety

Governors’ Statement of Commitment to E-safety

September 2023

As the governing body of St Oswald’s Catholic Primary School, we want to affirm our recognition of the importance of E-Safety in our school. We are fully committed to ensuring that the children in our school are not only kept safe online within the school premises but also have the appropriate skills needed to keep themselves safe online when at home. With access to the internet being easier than ever via mobiles, tablets, games consoles, smart speakers, laptops, and computers, we cannot stress how valuable it is, to educate children in E-Safety. That is why we will continue to work closely with the senior leadership team, computing coordinator, and E-safety team, as they endeavour to make St Oswald’s a safer place for both students and staff online.
